Neocate® Syneo® Infant & Neocate® Infant
There are a few updates to Neocate Syneo Infant and Neocate Infant.

Simplified Naming: Neocate Infant DHA/ARA is now simply Neocate Infant. Rest assured Neocate Infant still contains DHA & ARA.

DHA Source: We’ve updated the DHA source from C. cohnii oil to Schizochytrium sp. oil, a safe ingredient widely used in infant formulas. The DHA level is increasing from 0.35% to 0.37% of total fatty acids which remains in line with expert recommendations as stated in a 2020 position paper. 1

Minor Nutrient Adjustments: You will notice slight updates to several nutrient values. With these updates there will be a slight increase in declared calories per can.

Packaging Refresh: The can is getting a modern makeover—still the same trusted brand!
Neocate Syneo Infant and Neocate Infant remain nutritionally complete and hypoallergenic. No changes to taste or tolerance are anticipated.

Design Refresh: The packaging is getting a vibrant update – everything you love about Neocate Junior with prebiotics, now with a look that’s easier to recognize!

Labeling Update: In line with FDA guidance, the energy value for soluble fibers will now be declared as 2 kcal/g instead of 4 kcal/g. This results in a slight decrease in labeled calories and minor shifts in nutrients per 100 kcal.
The product remains hypoallergenic and nutritionally complete for those one year of age and older. The trusted nutrition of Neocate Junior with prebiotics remains the same.
There are no changes to product codes.

Even though “Junior” has been added to the name, there are no changes to the age indication. The product continues to be hypoallergenic and delivers the same trusted nutrition for those one year of age and older.

The formulation remains the same and continues to help add texture, variety, and promotes oral development to restricted diets of those 6 months of age and older with cow milk allergy and/or related conditions.
Neocate Nutra/Spoon is suitable to supplement the diet of those 6 months of age and older (not nutritionally complete). Neocate Nutra/Spoon is not intended for bottle or tube feed.
