We are pleased to share the news we’ve all been waiting for: the additional 500,000 cans of Neocate® Infant DHA/ARA and Neocate® Junior have begun arriving in the US and shipping out to customers. Two weeks ago, we received 32,500 cans of Neocate Junior Unflavored and immediately began shipping to customers. As you may have seen in the news, more than 200,000 cans of Neocate Infant DHA/ARA and Neocate Junior arrived/will arrive in the US on July 9th and 17th through the White House’s Operation Fly Formula initiative. We’re grateful to the White House and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for helping to get this formula into the US faster than anticipated and more quickly into the hands of the food allergy families who need it. The remaining cans of Neocate Infant DHA/ARA are slated for arrival in the U.S. by the end of July and will begin shipping to customers in early August. Supply currently remains tight for some products, including Neocate Infant DHA/ ARA until the end of the month, but the situation is now improving quickly, and we will have ample supply of Neocate Junior Unflavored and Neocate Infant DHA/ARA in the next weeks.
We’re continuing to produce all Neocate products and have significantly increased production of Neocate Infant DHA/ARA and Neocate Junior Unflavored because the vast majority of our customers use or can use these products. If your usual Neocate formula is not available, please talk to your healthcare professional about whether your child can temporarily use Neocate Infant DHA/ARA or Neocate Junior Unflavored as a replacement since we will have ample supply in the coming weeks.
We are continuing to work with the FDA and White House to find ways to help families of children with food allergies to get the formula they need. We will continue to keep you up to date on the status of Neocate availability with our Bi-weekly Bulletin Updates. In the meantime, please continue visiting this site for the latest news and answers to frequently-asked-questions.
