Polycal

Polycal is a simple to use powdered, concentrated source of energy in the form of maltodextrin. Polycal dissolves readily and has a neutral taste making it ideal to add to both sweet and savory foods and drinks without significantly altering flavor or texture. It is also suitable for use in cooking. Polycal is suitable for conditions where a high energy, low fluid or modular diet is indicated.

Ingredients:

Maltodextrin.

Preparation:

Beverages: Sprinkle the required amount of powder into the beverage and stir well.

Foods: For best results, mix powder with sufficient liquid to form a smooth paste before stirring into hot or cold food.

A scoop is provided in the can and holds approximately 5 g of powder (20 kcal). Polycal is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use content within 1 month. Replace lid firmly after use. Unfinished beverages and foods should be stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
