of breast milk

Pepticate, a hypoallergenic eHF formula, has lactose as a
primary carbohydrate source for palatability and energy
to support your baby’s growth.
Pepticate has prebiotic fibers which support the
immune system.
Pepticate contains nucleotides, which are naturally
present in breast milk.
DHA and ARA promotes brain and eye development.

Why lactose matters

With whey-based protein providing amino acids for growth and lactose for energy, Pepticate is uniquely
designed with your baby's needs in mind.

Pepticate contains lactose, a carbohydrate naturally found in breast milk which lends a sweet taste.

Cow milk protein allergy and lactose intolerance are not the same. Cow milk protein allergy is caused by the immune system reacting to the protein found in cow milk and other dairy products. Lactose intolerance is rare in babies, and is caused by a deficiency of the enzyme lactase—which is not the same issue as cow milk protein allergy.

Cow milk protein allergy (CMPA), also known as cow milk allergy (CMA), is one of the most common food allergies in babies, and usually appears before 1 year of age. CMPA usually appears in infancy while lactose intolerance typically starts after the age of three.
