Nutricia North America is pleased to announce the addition of Neocate Junior Chocolate to our trusted family of hypoallergenic medical foods!
We already have received outstanding feedback about the delicious chocolaty taste. Neocate Junior Chocolate will be available for distribution in April 2007. Nutricia will continue providing Neocate Junior unflavored and tropical flavor.

Neocate Junior is a hypoallergenic amino acid-based medical food for children over the age of one for resolving conditions related to gastrointestinal tract impairment. As with Neocate Junior unflavored and tropical, Neocate Junior chocolate has the same key features.

• Nutritionally complete
• High protein equivalent for GI tissue repair
• Extra vitamins and minerals for malabsorptive conditions
Carbohydrate content formulated to minimize osmotic load

In addition to the new chocolate flavor, we have added a scoop to all of the Neocate Junior flavors for more convenient and easier mixing. There will be no changes made to the ingredients, however, we optimized some of the nutrients to better meet the Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs). Distribution of Neocate Junior unflavored and tropical including the scoop and the new nutrient profile will begin shipping in May 2007.

Please note, codes (e.g. reimbursement, HCPCS, etc.) for Neocate Junior unflavored and tropical have not changed. Pricing and case size will remain the same.
